Cardiovascular prevention for a healthy and strong heart

Early symptoms of heart disease are easy to ignore. A feeling of fatigue, shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, arm pain, swelling in the lower extremities - these are some of the complaints that should alert us. It also happens that the disease develops in latency. Therefore, regular cardiovascular examinations are very important in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.

Coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, hypertension, stroke - such a diagnosis is heard by hundreds of thousands of people every year. This can be avoided by monitoring your health. Such an attitude will allow you to detect possible deviations from the norm. After all, it is much better to prevent than to cure. Treatment of the disease, diagnosed at an early stage of development, is much easier and more effective.

What is good for our heart?

  • A diet rich in fish - it is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, and micro- and macronutrients. Among other things, a diet rich in these components reduces the likelihood of atherosclerosis, and therefore congestion and heart attacks.

  • Breaking with bad habits /tobacco, alcohol/.

  • Physical activity. People who perform at least 3-4 times a week workouts subject to at least brisk walking, cycling, or group exercise are not only much less likely to suffer a heart attack or stroke, but statistically significantly less likely to develop cancer or Alzheimer's disease than their inactive peers.

  • Regular medical checkups, including consultations, ECGs, or cholesterol levels after age 40, allow for early detection of cardiovascular diseases and thus more effective treatment.
