BILIRUBIN TOTAL
Determinations of total bilirubin level in serum are mainly used as an aid in the diagnosis of liver functions. Measurement of total bilirubin concentration is used as an aid to diagnosis of clinical conditions associated with hyperbilirubinemia. Increased total bilirubin levels can be observed in mechanical jaundice, bile ducts diseases.
